Pitch to Page Screenwriting Contests
For over 20 years, StarPitchers has been one of the leading script listing services in the film industry, connecting producers and screenwriters. The StarPitchers Pitch to Page contest provides writers with newfound exposure and accolades, while highlighting the best portfolios on StarPitchers.
Only the strongest pitches receive script reads in the film industry. Therefore, Pitch to Page focuses on a holistic approach by identifying the best scripts from "pitch to page." Since the logline is a writer's first key in opening the door to a read, all first round submissions are judged on their loglines. The next round of judging is based on the first ten pages of the script. Those submissions that have the strongest pitch and opening pages will finally be judged on their full scripts.
Theme: All Genres (Features and TV scripts)
(We are open to all genres for both feature and TV scripts. Please note our page minimum and maximum requirements in our rules and the type of TV scripts we will accept.)
- The next contest opens August 25, 2025.
- The final deadline to submit is September 19, 2025.
Cost to enter: $35.00
StarPitchers Pro Members: FREE

It is important that screenwriters know how to pitch their scripts as well as write compelling screenplays. On StarPitchers, strong loglines matter to grab a producer's attention. Your first ten pages will draw them into your style and story. And your script is what seals the deal. But every element is important. Therefore, all entries will be evaluated first on their loglines. Submissions that move higher into the contest will be evaluated on their first ten pages, and finally the full scripts.
